Sequin Health

During the 2024 QICSI incubator, I co-founded Sequin Health, a healthcare SaaS platform focused on improving the patient-therapist matching process using an advanced algorithm. Over the intensive 16-week program, I spearheaded strategic operations and managed external stakeholder communications, building key partnerships with psychotherapists and venture capital investors. Our efforts secured $4,000 in seed funding, providing the foundation for initial growth.

Navigating cofounder dynamics and gaining traction in a competitive healthcare market challenged us to refine our vision and continuously adapt. While we eventually decided to close the business, this journey taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, collaboration, and market-driven innovation—skills I carry forward in my future ventures.

Queen's Startup Summit

In a fast-paced, 20-hour competition, our team developed and pitched Mirvie, a biotech company focused on predicting pregnancy complications through noninvasive testing.

This high-pressure environment required quick thinking, effective teamwork, and sharp business acumen. Our efforts earned us second place and a $1,000 prize, reaffirming my passion for bringing innovative ideas to life under tight constraints.

BC Enterprises

Rooted in my hands-on upbringing, I launched BC Enterprises in 2020 after realizing the high demand for quality home renovations. Leveraging my engineering expertise, I streamlined operations, secured over 15 major projects totaling more than $10,000, and built a trusted team. My approach stands out by merging technical precision with creative design, utilizing SolidWorks to optimize project workflows.

My role as a property manager during my time at Queen’s further refined my project management and organizational skills, enabling me to oversee property renovations with attention to detail and professionalism.
